Cultivating Emotional Intelligence at the Workplace on the Time of the Pandemic
Presented by Vanessa Agriz, Certified Genos Emotional
Intelligence Practitioner
As we kickstart the year 2022 with a renewed hope and
enthusiasm, the newly established Philippines Branch would like to encourage
the Business Analysis Community to promote the Emotional Intelligence as a
skill-building capability that enhances our collaboration and communication
between our stakeholders, co-workers, clients, and suppliers at the time when
the vast majority is still working remotely. This webinar would like to uplift
and develop leadership and influential skills for each participant as we
continue our personal and professional development into the future from the
global pandemic and adjusting oneself into the New Normal.
At the end of the monthly
meeting, participants should be able to:
• Improve collaboration and exercise
good communication skills both inside and outside the organization
• Enhance individual Influential Skills
by utilizing Emotional Intelligence in our communications
• Strengthen one’s leadership skills by
applying empathy towards stakeholders, co-workers, clients, and suppliers
especially during the time of crisis.
KEY POINT:
As we perform our duties in collaborating with different
individuals within and outside our organization, it is crucial to improve our communication
and influential skills for us to continuously deliver valuable services and/or
products. This demonstrates how well-verse are we in exuding leadership
qualities while dealing a crisis.

Managing Product
Development Complexities Across Hardware and Software Teams
Presented by Steven Meadows, Principal Solutions Lead, Jama
Software
As products and software become more complex, so does the
process required to build them. Without the proper tools and processes in
place, these growing complexities can increase the risk of flaws — which can
lead to expensive, and potentially reputation-harming recalls. Managing
complexities across software and hardware development requires the entire
development process to consider (and include) a variety of teams and
interdependencies.
In the second episode of our Optimize with Jama Connect webinar
series, we will discuss some of the key challenges that teams face when
integrating hardware and software requirements, risks, and tests, with a
document based or legacy tool approach.
In this 30-minute presentation, we’ll also
discuss how Jama Connect and its integration capabilities helps teams
developing complex systems and products to:
• Reduce product development risk
• Provide end-to-end traceability for
all involved teams
• Improve product quality
