Top Websites For Business Analysts

There are many resources readily available on the internet dedicated to the business analysis professional and those interested in the business analysis discipline. To help sift through the good, the bad and the ugly I present this list of the top 10 website dedicated to business analysis. It would be easy to expand this list way beyond 10, such as my blog (www.thewittyba.blogspot.com), as well as many other practitioners who blog excellent content for the business analysis profession. Linked (www.linkedin.com) has many discussion groups dedicated to business analysis, where you can stay abreast of the latest news, trends and thought leadership of the profession.  You will see that I included a few education providers, who would have a self-serving, profitable reason for having a website, but the content they provide adds to the value of the business analysis  profession and helps practitioners grow in their profession; so they are included.  I hope you find these websites as valuable as I do.

Usually the person is asking more than just best practices, but looking for a short-cut or one-size-fits-all process to go about doing business analysis. I hate to break it to you…there is no such thing.
What I often find in the question is that the person is getting hung up on the process or technique and has lost sight of the ultimate goal…which should always be to add business value...
